Anyone can use mobile presets to make their phone photos look gorgeous and professional. Anyone can use them, even complete beginners. They're a great option if you're just starting out in photography or if you want to give your Instagram feed a certain feel, for instance. Desktop presets are ideal for photographers who want to step up their game, whether they are professionals or amateurs looking to advance their pastime. They're more involved and a little more difficult than mobile presets, so folks who are already familiar with the fundamentals of image editing should use them.

Presets for the desktop version of Adobe Lightroom are made specifically for that application. They won't function on your phone, and using the programme will need you to pay a monthly subscription fee of $15. Only the Lightroom app, which is available for iPhone and Android phones, is compatible with mobile presets. You don't need to sign up for a monthly membership in order to use the app, which is free.
